RAM CHARAN CAREER

Through Puri Jagannadh's film Chirutha, Ram began his career through this movie in 2007. An ex-convict whose mission to kill the murderer of his father. The film was flop but, on the basis of his performance, he gained two awards for the film - Best South Debutant Filmfare Award and Nandi Special Jury Award.

After this movie, in 2009, Ram Charan featured as a male lead actor in S.S Rajamouli's film Magadheera which was a fantastic love story. He played dual role in the film - Kala Bhairava a commander-in-chief of Udaygadh army and a valiant warrior who loves Udaygadh's princess, and Harsha, a bike-racer who discovers his past life. The film was blockbuster and ran 757 days at cinema threatre because the audience was liked and filled complete energy in the film.

Charan earned 4 awards for Magadheera - Nandi Special Jury Award, Best Telugu Actor South Filmfare Award, Santosham Best Actor Film Award, and Best Male Actor CineMAA Award. He portrayed many films including Yevadu, Zanjeer (remake 1973 film of the same name), Naayak, Govindudu Andarivadele, Dhruva, and others.

Ram Charan is also the producer of his father Chiranjeevi's movie Khlaidi No. 150, released in 2017. He is fliming in Sukumar direction film RC 11, which is a voilent action thriller story, opposite to Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

RAM CHARAN PERSONAL LIFE

Grandson of Allu Rama Lingaiah, son of profilic Telugu star Chiranjeevi and Surekha Konidela, Ram Charan was born in Madras (now Chennai), Tamil Nadu, India on 27 March 1985.

Ram Charan is the nephew of South star Pawan Kalyan, Nagendra Babu, and Allu Aravind. Cousin of Telugu actor Allu Arjun, Varun Tej, and Sai Dharam, Charan has two sisters - a younger Srija, and an elder Sushmita.

On 14th June, 2012, Ram Charan got married with the vice-chairman of Apollo Charity Upasana Kamineni which is the granddaughter of Prathap Chandra Reedy which is the chairman of Apollo Charity and an Indian entrepreneur.
